Simone recommended this place and my husband and I have been coming more often. The customer service is very friendly.
Scotty's is a legend in Whittier. Even though they moved locations years ago, we all still patronize this spot because the food, service, and portions are really that good. I personally like to partake in breakfast as I love an old fashioned down home start ot my day. The menu has everything you'd want at a reasonable price. The only suggestion is that you MUST add those biscuits and gravy to any breakfast dish - they are amazing. Fact is, every plate I've had here is great and the staff is so kind and welcoming that anyone would love it here.
My go to spot for bomb breakfast y'all. The spot is clean the staff is friendly and attentive the breakfast is very good and the portions are plenty . Check it out they been in Whittier for a minute.
This place is so cute , it's like you walk in and you instantly feel like your in one of those restaurants in a hallmark movie , the service was super good and friendly, everyone is helping out and doing their best, and the food was sooooooo good , oh and their salsa is so fresh it tasted and smelled amazing , it smelled so good I swear I was tempted to use it as perfume maybe that's a stretch but take my word for it! It's bomb
Today my neighbor John whos been a long time patron of SCOTTYS on Whittier Blvd ask if I'd like to join him for breakfast at Scotty's and I said I Certainly would Well it's my 3rd time there and I must say that Scotty's Never disappoints he ordered a chorizo burrito and I the breakfast burrito which I couldn't finish but what I love about Scottys is this lovely waitress named Jennifer who has to definitely be the most pleasant and lovely young lady that I have been waited on from many other restaurants big and small She is always so friendly and has the biggest friendly smile that just brightened my day If only All waitresses were this lovely and pleasant Jennifer you have my vote for loveliest waitress in all of Whittier. Keep being You
I have been enjoying this restaurant for years. The service is always kind and attentive. The restaurant feels like you are eating with friends and family at home. I enjoy their omelets every time I visit. My family has never been disappointed by their breakfast or lunch dishes either.
Are you craving some good old fashioned breakfast or lunch? This is the place to eat. Great service with a smile the entire time from all staff. Nothing fancy, nothing flashy, just good'ol tasty food.
The place was full when we arrived. It's pretty small and the tables are very close together on the inside. They do have a host stand outside and three older tables to sit at. The host was sooooo nice! He said it would be about 10min, but after 15 he asked if we wanted to sit outside. We took him up on his offer and a nice breeze came through. The reason the outside tables are not a desirable area is because it's right on the sidewalk where people walk by or walk up to out their name in right in front of their entrance. All in all it was fine. He sat us and offered us drinks which was nice that we didn't have to wait. Missy was our server and she took our order right away. She was very friendly, fast and all our needs were met. Great service! My 5yo had chicken strips and fries. She loved it. She's pretty picky, too. She has always turned down ranch, but this time she wanted to try it, because it looked thick she said. She took one bite and was in love. She said she wanted to eat it every single day. She took her fry and dipped it, too! I had the Belgian waffle combo. Eggs cooked perfectly over medium, bacon was crisp without me even requesting it that way. The waffle was a tad soggy. It could've been crispier, but that's ok. My mother-in-law had a senior meal and just raved about the eggs and sausage. It was the perfect amount. My hubs had the chili verde chilaquiles and it was really tasty. The chips were awesome! We had 2 iced teas and the kids meal came with a drink. It was about $75.
Tucked away off the main road in Whittier, is a small, but extremely popular family breakfast restaurant. We showed up and waited about ten minutes for a table for two on a Sunday morning. It was packed and there were more groups lining up outside for lunch. They have an assortment of options and the traditional fixings - something for everyone. We ordered a traditional breakfast with Hashbrown, bacon, eggs, and biscuits and gravy. I typically don't go for biscuits and gravy but they had a half order and I wanted to try it. The bacon was a standout too because I'm so used to it being undercooked and extremely greasy, but not here. Everything was really good, a step up from fast food diners, but with reasonable prices. The pancakes were also fluffy and melt in your mouth. I understand the popularity of this place. It should be the go to breakfast spot if you live in the nearby area. It's got a great feel, the staff is friendly, and you can go back and try something new every time. They share a parking lot with some neighboring shops, but you should be able to find a spot with ease.
